INMECS21, The 1st International Conference on Media and Cultural Studies has been postponed to September 6th-7th 2021 due to high demand and prolonged referee evaluation process, and the full text submission date has been updated as of October 17th 2021. Abstracts whose evaluation process has been completed and accepted will be published on our website and will be constantly updated.

Call for Conference: “Communıcatıon, Art and Culture ın Dıgıtal World”
Hasan Kalyoncu University, Faculty of Communication is going to organize “International Media and Cultural Studies Conference” annually, whose first-year topic is “Communication, Art and Culture in Digital World” on September 6th and 7th with nationally and internationally well-known keynote speakers on Zoom platform.
Cultural studies, previously associated with linguistics, has become an important part of Communication Sciences. Moreover, Cultural studies, which are frequently used in text and content analysis, especially in the media, have become an indispensable expansion of communication in terms of many research methods. In this context, changing communication habits in pandemic, the role of communication, media, art and culture and all other changes, interactions in social and cultural field will generate our conference’s mainframe.
The abstracts will be evaluated by Conference’s Scientific Committee, by blind-referee method and the accepted abstracts will be published at Conference Book of Abstract.
The full texts of the participants will be published online in the Conference Book of Proceedings (The full-text is not compulsory).
The deadline for submission of abstracts is June 27th, 2021.
* The official languages of the Conference are Turkish and English. The conference is international and meets the criteria for associate professorship and academic appointment.
